The overview emphasizes Lexus’ high-quality construction and the NX’s strong reputation for reliability, which are the main reasons this model stands out for used buyers. For a used buyer, the main risk is less about the model’s core dependability and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not overused or poorly equipped.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus NX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, option-package features, and overall condition, since many desirable items are bundled and can be costly to sort out later. Focus on how the vehicle was equipped and maintained, because that will matter more than mileage alone on a luxury SUV like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus NX?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,888 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,747, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $40,066 sits slightly below last year's $41,190.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited than in a rising market. If you plan to sell later, the NX’s premium image and strong reliability reputation should help support demand, especially among shoppers who want a luxury SUV with a dependable track record. The current pricing trend also gives you a clearer benchmark for setting expectations if you decide to trade it in down the road.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 NX is a strong choice if you want a luxury compact SUV with a premium cabin, broad powertrain coverage, and a dependable reputation. If your priority is getting the best value, this year looks especially appealing when you find a well-priced, accident-free example. If you are highly price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2024’s current market softness and inventory depth.
