How much does the 2024 Lexus GX cost?

There are 1,367 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Lexus GX a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 GX stands out as a major redesign with a more modern, substantial look, more passenger and cargo space, and a more convenient liftgate. It also broadens its appeal with a wide trim lineup and a strong mix of luxury and off-road equipment, so you can shop it as either a comfort-first SUV or a more rugged one depending on trim. With 35.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to target.

Is the 2024 Lexus GX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 GX’s redesign brings a more modern platform, updated packaging, and a broad equipment spread, which can help it feel more current than the outgoing generation. Its comfort-focused setup and full-time four-wheel drive suggest a vehicle built for broad use rather than a narrow specialty. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific example you choose has been maintained carefully and hasn’t been used hard off-road.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus GX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report to confirm the vehicle’s background and verify that the title and service record make sense. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the SUV has been used for towing, off-road driving, or frequent family hauling. Focus your condition check on the suspension, tires, interior wear, and any signs that the vehicle’s luxury and off-road equipment has seen heavy use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus GX?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,367 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.11% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $79,467, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus GX's resale value?

The current average of $79,467 sits slightly below last year's $85,551.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition so you preserve as much value as possible. A well-kept GX should still appeal to shoppers who want a luxury SUV with real capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus GX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $55,200, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $79,467 average.
• It offers a more traditional, V8-powered old-school character.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $86,230, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $79,467 average.
• It adds polished versatility with strong standard tech and off-road ability.

The bottom line:

The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the redesigned GX’s newer packaging, broader appeal, and a market that currently offers decent deal availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value path, especially if you prefer its more traditional character. If you want the newest version and can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the premium alternative.
