How much does the 2024 Lexus GX cost?

Is the 2024 Lexus GX a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Lexus GX is positioned as a luxury SUV that leans into capability while still delivering upscale touches, and its redesign adds more passenger and cargo space, a more modern layout, and a conventional liftgate. It also offers a wide trim range, so you can shop from more convenience-focused versions to more rugged off-road setups depending on how you plan to use it. With 36.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Lexus GX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Lexus GX is built around a capability-first formula, but it still brings the kind of upscale cabin treatment and broad feature set that help it feel well sorted. Its redesign also suggests a more modern and spacious package than before, which can matter when you plan to keep a vehicle for years. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific example you choose has been maintained carefully and hasn’t been used hard off-road.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus GX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the truck’s equipment and trim match the listing. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the suspension, tires, brakes, and interior wear, especially if the GX may have seen towing or trail use. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since a luxury SUV with capability hardware can vary a lot from one example to the next.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus GX?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,420 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.21% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $78,752, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus GX's resale value?

The current average of $78,752 sits slightly below last year's $84,873.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may also mean future resale gains are more limited if prices stay soft. Even so, the GX’s upscale positioning and capability-focused appeal can help it hold interest among shoppers who want a luxury SUV with real utility. If demand remains steady for well-equipped, clean examples, that should support resale better than a more ordinary SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus GX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $55,008, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $78,752 average.
• It offers old-school V8 appeal and traditional rugged character.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $85,786, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $78,752 average.
• It adds a more polished, well-rounded mix of tech and capability.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best fit if you want the redesigned GX experience with strong satisfaction and a softer market. If price matters most, the 2023 is the value play; if you want the newest take and can spend more, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
