Is the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover a good car?

The 2024 Land Rover Range Rover stands out as a luxury SUV that still leans on the brand’s long-standing promise of go-anywhere capability. It offers a richly appointed cabin, unusual flexibility with standard and long-wheelbase body styles, and seating for four, five, or seven, which makes it especially appealing if you want a high-end SUV with broad configuration choices.

It also brings strong powertrain options and a long list of comfort and driver-assistance features, so you get both presence and substance. For buyers who want a lavish SUV with serious capability and a distinctive feel, it is one of the more compelling choices in its class. 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is meaningful shopping opportunity.

Is the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover reliable?

The 2024 Land Rover Range Rover is still very much a high-end, high-cost ownership proposition. Its reputation for complexity and expensive maintenance remains part of the package, even alongside its luxury and capability strengths.

That means you should think beyond the purchase price and plan for long-term ownership risk if you want a used one.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Land Rover Range Rover?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify service records before you commit. Put inspection priority on overall condition, especially signs of wear that could matter more on a complex luxury SUV. Focus on how the cabin, electronics, and mechanical systems present, since those areas can influence ownership satisfaction the most.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Land Rover Range Rover?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,703 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.76% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $98,999, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover's resale value?

The current average of $98,999 sits slightly below last year's $116,144.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy with less immediate depreciation risk than when prices were higher. For a future seller, the key question is whether you buy at a disciplined price and keep the vehicle in strong condition. If you do, you give yourself a better chance of recovering value later, even in a model known for premium pricing and higher ownership costs.

Should I buy a 2024 Land Rover Range Rover or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.76% compared with last year.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $112,742, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $98,999 average.
• Changes are limited to option reshuffling.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the stronger value proposition and more room to negotiate. If you are less price-sensitive and want the newer model year, the 2025 is the cleaner alternative, but the 2024 is the better starting point for shoppers focused on value.
