Is the 2024 Kia EV6 a good car?

The 2024 Kia EV6 is a strong fit if you want a stylish, tech-forward electric crossover with a driver-focused cockpit and a premium-feeling feature set. It is aimed at buyers who value sporty driving manners, fast charging, and a high-tech interior, and it also brings broad equipment for the money. Its tradeoffs are clear, though: range is described as unimpressive, cargo space is limited, and some safety features can be aggravating. The user rating is 3.75/5, which suggests a mixed but still respectable ownership experience. Good and great deals account for 47.8% of listings, so you have a healthy share of market-priced opportunities to consider.

Is the 2024 Kia EV6 reliable?

The 2024 Kia EV6 is presented as a well-equipped electric crossover with standard battery pre-conditioning, available all-wheel drive, and a long list of standard safety features. Its platform and tech-forward design help it feel modern and capable, especially if you want quick charging and a premium cabin experience. The main caution for used buyers is that long-term ownership risk can rise if you prioritize range, cargo flexibility, or want to avoid potentially frustrating safety-tech behavior.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia EV6?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the car’s accident and title history before you buy. Put inspection priority on battery-related condition, charging behavior, tire wear, and any signs of uneven use or repair. Because this model’s appeal depends heavily on its tech and EV hardware, focus on how everything operates in real-world use rather than just the exterior condition.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia EV6?

This is a favorable buyer’s market if you want a 2024 EV6, because pricing has eased and there is meaningful deal availability.

• Inventory: There are 1,415 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.26% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,946, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Kia EV6's resale value?

The current average of $28,054 sits slightly below last year's $30,249.

That price movement suggests the EV6 has already absorbed some near-term depreciation, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale value may remain sensitive to mileage, condition, and how well the car is equipped relative to the market. If you buy at the right price now and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it is time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia EV6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 47.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.26% compared with last year.

Consider the 2025 if:

• The 2025 adds a facelift, more range, and updated charging and infotainment tech.

The bottom line: The 2024 makes the most sense if you want a lower-priced EV6 with strong inventory support and you value the model’s styling, charging speed, and premium-feeling cabin. If you are willing to spend more for the newer version, the 2025 is the better pick for buyers who want the latest updates and a more advanced overall package.
