Is the 2024 Kia EV6 a good car?

The 2024 Kia EV6 is a strong fit if you want an electric crossover with a sporty personality, a tech-forward cabin, and a more engaging feel than many practical-minded rivals. It earns a user rating of 3.8/5, and its appeal is tied to its coupe-like profile, driver-focused cockpit, available all-wheel drive, and premium feature content.

The EV6 also stands out for its 800-volt electrical architecture, vehicle-to-load capability, dual digital displays, and available upscale equipment such as ventilated front seats, a head-up display, and a surround-view camera system. If you value design, technology, and a more athletic driving character over maximum utility, it fits that brief well. 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Kia EV6 reliable?

The 2024 Kia EV6 is described as a stylish, tech-forward electric crossover with a sporty personality, and it brings a strong list of standard safety features and premium equipment. It also benefits from the EV platform’s fast-charging capability and vehicle-to-load functionality, which add to its everyday usefulness.

At the same time, the EV6 is noted for unimpressive electric range, limited cargo space, and aggravating safety features, so you should expect some compromises alongside its strengths. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about living with those tradeoffs than about the core appeal of the vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia EV6?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Put inspection priority on the battery-related systems, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and any signs of uneven wear or prior bodywork. Because this model is valued for its technology and sporty character, make sure the cabin electronics, driver-assist features, and charging functions all work as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia EV6?

If you find a listing below $26,921, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Kia EV6's resale value?

The current average of $27,331 sits slightly below last year's $29,841.

That price movement suggests the EV6 has softened enough to create a more favorable entry point for used buyers. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you can help protect your exit value later.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia EV6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.41% compared with last year.

Consider the 2025 if:

• The 2025 brings a facelift, revised interior, larger battery, new charging port, and updated infotainment.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better primary target if you want a sporty, tech-rich EV6 at a softer used price. If you are more price-sensitive and want the strongest value opportunity, the 2024 deserves a close look; if you want the newest updates and can spend more, the 2025 is the better alternative.
