Used 2024 Kia Carnival for Sale near Oklahoma

How much does the 2024 Kia Carnival cost?

Prices have softened 9.92% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,655 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Kia Carnival a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Kia Carnival earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Form and function, and Cost effectiveness.

It stands out as a polished people mover with a stylish design, a great driving experience, and excellent value for money. The Carnival also carries over unchanged for 2024, so you’re looking at a familiar package ahead of the 2025 refresh.

One trade-off is the lack of all-wheel drive, and another is that Kia doesn’t make folding the seats easy.

38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Kia Carnival reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Carnival’s appeal is reinforced by its excellent warranty and its straightforward V6-and-automatic powertrain setup. It also delivers a comfortable ride and a refined drivetrain, which are the kinds of traits that usually matter most over years of ownership.

Kia’s warranty coverage is a major ownership perk, and that can help reduce your out-of-pocket risk early in the life of the vehicle.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that mixed safety results and the lack of AWD may matter more as your needs change.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia Carnival?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a full records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on seat operation, interior wear, and any signs of heavy family use. It’s also worth confirming that the trim and equipment match what you expect, since the feature set changes meaningfully by grade.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base LX models get cloth seats, while EX and SX models get leatherette upholstery and SX Prestige trims get real leather upholstery. The top trim also brings a more upscale feel, but the interior remains mostly plastic even there.
• Powertrain: The Carnival is offered with a 3.5-liter V6, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive. There is no all-wheel drive option and no hybrid powertrain.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, a driver attention monitor, automatic high beams, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. Higher trims add adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, Highway Driving Assist, a surround-view camera system, and a blind-spot camera system.
• Infotainment: The base LX trim gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other trims upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, but with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: The Carnival is EPA-rated at 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway, or 22 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Kia Carnival trim should I buy?

The 2024 Kia Carnival is offered in 4 trim levels: LX, EX, SX, SX Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Carnival’s core strengths at the lowest price. You get the 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus the standard safety suite, so it makes sense if you want the best value and can live without the larger screens and extra luxury touches.
• EX: This trim adds leatherette upholstery and moves you into the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen and digital instrument cluster. It’s the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds a more upscale feel without jumping all the way to the top trim.
• SX: This trim builds on the EX with more premium equipment and a stronger luxury lean. It suits you if you want a richer cabin and more available convenience features without going all the way to the most expensive version.
• SX Prestige: This is the most upscale Carnival, with real leather upholstery and the most premium presentation. It’s the right pick if you want the most refined version and are willing to pay for it.

Higher trim levels add more driver-assistance features, including adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, Highway Driving Assist, a surround-view camera system, and a blind-spot camera system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia Carnival?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,655 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.92% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,267, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Kia Carnival's resale value?

The current average of $31,267 sits slightly below last year's $34,712.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper what a future seller can expect. If you buy at the current average or below, you’re starting from a more favorable cost basis than shoppers were a year ago. A well-kept Carnival should still have appeal because it combines strong value, a good driving experience, and a long warranty.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Kia Carnival safe?

The 2024 Kia Carnival received mixed scores from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), with Good ratings in the driver and passenger-side small-overlap front crash tests and the original moderate-overlap front and side tests, but Marginal in the updated moderate-overlap front test and Poor in the updated side test.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, a driver attention monitor, automatic high beams, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. Higher trim levels get more driver-assistance features, including adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, Highway Driving Assist, a surround-view camera system, and a blind-spot camera system.

The mixed IIHS results are the main safety caveat to keep in mind, and the headlight performance also varies by trim.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Carnival or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged ahead of the 2025 refresh, so you’re buying a familiar package.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,564, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $31,267 average.
• It emphasizes stylish practicality and strong value.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year pricing context and a broad selection of listings, the 2024 is the cleaner choice. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2023 is the better value play.
