Used 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S for Sale nearRaleigh, NC

Is the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S a good car?

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S earns a 7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 8/10.

Jeep’s first electric SUV is aimed at you if you want quick, modern EV performance rather than just efficiency, and the data backs that up with a dual-motor setup, strong straight-line pace, and more than 300 miles of range. It also brings a comfortable cabin, reasonable cargo space, and easy-to-use technology, which helps make it feel well equipped for everyday use.

The trade-offs are real, though: the price is high, the steering feel is described as lifeless, and the display screens can be distracting because of dust, fingerprints, reflections, and glare.

Good and great deals account for 33.2% of listings, so there is at least some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S reliable?

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S is presented as a new electric model with a straightforward dual-motor setup and a large battery, which are the kinds of ingredients you want for a modern EV powertrain. The performance notes also point to predictable brakes, a composed ride, and charging behavior that fits normal EV use, with home charging for overnight replenishment and DC fast charging for road trips.

Jeep also includes complimentary maintenance, which is a helpful ownership perk for a new EV. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this is still an early-production model, so you should be especially attentive to software behavior, charging performance, and overall condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this is a high-priced EV with a lot of technology onboard. Pay close attention to how the screens look and function, how the steering feels on a test drive, and whether the charging system behaves normally at home and on a fast charger.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: For 2024, only the fully loaded Launch Edition is available, so you should expect a well-equipped cabin with upscale materials, a high-tech dashboard, and standard features that leave little room for option shopping.
• Powertrain: The setup uses two 250-kW electric motors for all-wheel drive, and the combined output reaches 600 horsepower and 617 lb-ft of torque with the over-the-air Propulsion Boost Package applied.
• Safety package: Jeep’s standard driver-assistance suite includes collision warning and avoidance systems, intersection collision assist, blind-spot monitoring with High Speed Overtake Warning, Active Driving Assist, surround-view camera, parking sensors, and self-parking.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, a 10.25-inch climate screen, a 10.25-inch passenger screen, and a 10-inch head-up display, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Range & charging: The EPA range is 303 miles, the battery is 100.5 kWh, and DC fast charging can take the battery from 20% to 80% in 23 minutes.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should confirm battery state-of-health, review charging habits, and make sure the battery still has meaningful warranty coverage remaining.

Which 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S trim should I buy?

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S is offered in 1 trim level: Launch Edition.

Here's the short version:

The Launch Edition is the only 2024 choice, so your decision is less about trim shopping and more about whether the fully loaded package fits your budget and priorities. It brings the strongest equipment mix, including the standard tech suite, the full driver-assistance package, and the performance hardware that defines the model. If you want the best-value path, this is the only path for 2024.

Jeep’s safety package is standard on this trim, so you do not need to move up for the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S?

• Clean inventory: 96.2% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S safe?

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S does not have crash-test scores available in the provided data, so the safety picture here is based on its driver-assistance equipment and expert evaluation.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Jeep equips the Wagoneer S Launch Edition with collision warning and avoidance systems, intersection collision assist, blind-spot monitoring with High Speed Overtake Warning, Active Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control and lane-centering, a surround-view camera, parking sensors all around, and a self-parking system.

One important caveat is that Jeep does not offer a hands-free driving system, so Active Driving Assist remains a hands-on setup rather than a more advanced automated highway feature.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It’s Jeep’s first electric SUV, with strong straight-line performance and more than 300 miles of range.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds more versions at lower price points.

The bottom line: If you want Jeep’s first electric SUV and can live with the Launch Edition’s high price and mixed steering and screen behavior, the 2024 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2025 lineup should give you more choices and a lower entry point, which may make waiting the smarter move.
