How much does the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 8.43% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,442 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It blends Jeep’s traditional off-road identity with a more premium, family-friendly feel, and it offers a wide range of trims from basic and affordable versions to more luxurious and pricey ones. If you want an SUV that can cover a broad spread of budgets and priorities while still feeling upscale, this model year fits that use case well. The market also shows 33.3% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2024 Grand Cherokee’s appeal comes from its balance of capability, comfort, and technology, with higher trims adding a first-class cabin, advanced tech, Active Driving Assist, and even a front passenger entertainment screen. It also keeps the brand’s off-road identity intact while leaning more toward luxury than many rivals.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a lower-trim or less-equipped example that feels too basic for your needs, so condition and equipment matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing matches the equipment you want, especially if you care about four-wheel-drive hardware or higher-end cabin features. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for wear, prior repairs, and any signs that the vehicle has been used harder than average. Focus on overall condition, because the Grand Cherokee’s value can vary a lot depending on trim, equipment, and how well it was maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,442 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.43% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,699, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $31,699 sits slightly below last year's $34,617.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give you a better entry point now, but it also means future sellers may face some pressure if prices continue to normalize. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your exit value later. Trim choice and overall condition will matter a lot when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.43% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better pick if you want a well-liked Grand Cherokee with a softer price than last year and enough inventory to compare options. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also keep nearby model years in play and focus on the cleanest, best-equipped example rather than the newest badge.
