How much does the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 8.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,395 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee earns a user rating of 5/5, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview shows why: you get Jeep’s traditional off-road identity paired with a more premium, family-friendly feel, plus a wide trim range that stretches from basic and affordable to more luxurious and pricey versions. That makes it a flexible choice if you want capability, comfort, and technology in one midsize SUV. With 40.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a healthy chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a vehicle built around a proven formula: a mainstream V6, available 4xe hybrid power, and multiple four-wheel-drive systems for buyers who need traction or trail capability. Its appeal comes from balancing comfort, technology, and off-road hardware rather than chasing novelty. For used buyers, that usually means the bigger long-term risk is choosing the wrong configuration or condition level, not the basic concept of the vehicle itself.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re serious about, even when the market looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the vehicle has higher mileage, multiple owners, or any signs of off-road use, since this model is often bought for capability as much as commuting. Focus your condition check on tires, suspension, brakes, and interior wear, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim example with more equipment to inspect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market, with meaningful deal availability and a sizable pool of listings to compare.

• Deal availability: 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,395 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.49% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,068, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $32,070 sits slightly below last year's $35,045.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on how well your specific vehicle stands out on condition, equipment, and mileage. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold attention better than plain or heavily worn ones, especially in a market where shoppers have plenty of listings to compare.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want the Grand Cherokee formula with strong market support, a broad trim range, and a favorable price trend. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 stands out as the better all-around choice when you want a balance of value, inventory depth, and buyer confidence.
