Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,490, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,507 average.
• The 2023 stands out for its off-road capability and distinctive plug-in hybrid setup.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want the better current-market value and stronger deal availability. If you’re more price-sensitive and find a well-kept 2023 with the right equipment, it can still make sense to compare closely before you buy.
