Used 2024 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearYakima, WA

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 10.60% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,420 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, abundant tech, comfortable driving experience, and generous room for passengers. The Palisade is also framed as a terrific family hauler with strong value for money and a roomy cabin for people and cargo.

The main trade-offs are its potentially polarizing design and poor fuel economy. It also lacks wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which may matter if you rely on cable-free smartphone integration.

For you, that means the Palisade makes the most sense if you want a well-equipped three-row SUV that feels upscale and practical rather than flashy in a conventional way. Good and great deals account for 42.1% of listings, which is a healthy sign of market flexibility.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with many buyers highlighting the Palisade’s long-term appeal, generous space, and strong value. The expert evaluation also emphasizes that it feels like a logical and emotional purchase, which reinforces the sense that it’s built to satisfy over time.

The Palisade also comes with three years of complimentary scheduled service, which helps reduce early ownership friction. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the vehicle was maintained properly and hasn’t accumulated hidden wear from family-duty use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on cabin wear, electronics, and signs of heavy family use, since this SUV is often chosen for daily hauling duties. Pay close attention to whether the equipment level matches the trim you’re considering, especially on lower trims where some desirable features are missing.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition. Lower trims come with front-wheel drive, while the Calligraphy Night Edition comes only with all-wheel drive and adds blacked-out exterior trim, badges, and wheels. If you want the most upscale feel, the higher trims bring the richer materials and more premium presentation that help the Palisade feel closer to a luxury SUV.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Palisade uses a 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available on upgraded models, and the SUV can tow up to 5,000 pounds. The setup is strong and smooth, but it is not meant for challenging terrain.
• Safety package: Hyundai’s SmartSense suite includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist pairs adaptive cruise control with curve speed control and lane-centering assist, and the SEL Premium package adds lane-change assist, front parking sensors, front cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, and surround-view and Blind-Spot View Monitor cameras. Those added features are not available with the XRT trim.
• Infotainment: Every Palisade gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth for two devices, Bluelink+ connected services, Wi-Fi access, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a rear-seat Quiet Mode. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, but they require a cable connection. Wireless charging starts with SEL trim, and the 12.3-inch digital instrument panel is included on SEL Premium, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD model is rated at 21 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 18.8 mpg on a testing loop. Fuel economy is one of the Palisade’s weakest points, so it matters more here than on many rivals.

Which 2024 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 6 trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point if you want the Palisade’s core space, V6 power, and standard safety and tech without paying for extras. It makes sense if you mainly want the roomy family-hauler basics and can live without the more premium cabin touches and advanced convenience features found higher up.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds meaningful convenience and tech upgrades while staying below the luxury-leaning upper trims. If you want a balanced mix of equipment and price, this is the one to focus on first.
• XRT: Choose this if you want the more rugged-looking trim, but keep in mind that some useful safety features available on SEL Premium are not offered here. It is more about appearance and attitude than added capability.
• Limited: This is the trim to target if you want a more upscale experience, including the richer equipment mix and the added blind-spot safety layers that make the Palisade easier to live with.
• Calligraphy: This is the premium comfort-and-tech choice, with the most luxurious presentation and the features that make the Palisade feel closest to a luxury SUV.
• Calligraphy Night Edition: Pick this if you want the Calligraphy experience with the blacked-out styling treatment and standard AWD. It is the most style-forward version of the lineup.

The SEL Premium package adds important safety and tech upgrades, including lane-change assist, front parking sensors, front cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, and surround-view and Blind-Spot View Monitor cameras.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

It looks like a buyer’s market for this model year, with plenty of inventory and meaningful price softness.

• Deal availability: 42.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,420 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.60% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,838, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $33,838 sits slightly below last year's $37,852.

That price movement suggests the Palisade has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. A lower entry cost can make it easier to hold value relative to what you paid, especially if you choose a well-equipped trim that remains desirable on the used market.

The model’s strong reputation for space, comfort, and value should help keep demand steady. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and a five-star rating for side-impact collisions from NHTSA, along with a four-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai’s SmartSense suite includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist adds adaptive cruise control, curve speed control, and lane-centering assist, and the SEL Premium package adds lane-change assist.

One caveat is that the IIHS rating does not reflect the SUV’s performance in a new moderate overlap frontal-impact test for rear occupant safety. Also, the SEL Premium package adds several useful safety features that are not available with the XRT trim.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 42.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds standard three-zone climate control and Bluelink+ while keeping the Palisade’s upscale, family-friendly formula.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $31,098, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $33,838 average.
• It adds a facelift and more standard tech and safety features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,983, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $33,838 average.
• The SEL Premium becomes a trim level and the XRT gains more standard equipment.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, inventory, and satisfaction, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 can save you money while still delivering much of the same family-friendly appeal. If you’re willing to pay a bit more for a later build, the 2025 remains worth considering when the deal is compelling.
