Used 2024 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearMyrtle Beach, SC

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 10.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,550 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, abundant tech, comfortable driving experience, and generous room for passengers. The overview also points to a terrific family-hauler setup with upscale materials, thoughtful amenities, and strong value for money.

The main trade-offs are its polarizing design and poor fuel economy, and it also lacks wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For you, that means the Palisade makes the most sense if you value space, comfort, and features more than efficiency or a conservative look.

The share of good and great deals is 34.9%, which gives you a decent chance of finding a well-priced example.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with owners especially appreciating the Palisade’s long-term value, luxurious feel, and abundant tech. The expert evaluation also emphasizes that it comes with long warranty and roadside assistance coverage, plus three years of complimentary scheduled service.

That combination lowers your early ownership burden, but you should still focus on maintenance records and overall condition when shopping used, since long-term wear and prior care matter more than the badge alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, confirm service history, and prioritize a thorough inspection of the interior electronics, safety systems, and tires. Because this SUV is often bought for family duty, condition and evidence of careful ownership matter a lot.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from SE to Calligraphy Night Edition, and lower trims come with front-wheel drive while the Calligraphy Night Edition is AWD-only. The base setup is less richly equipped than higher trims, and the Night Edition adds blacked-out styling with dark chrome and gloss black exterior trim, badges, and wheels.
• Powertrain: Every version uses a 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. It has plenty of power, satisfying acceleration, and available AWD with drive modes including Eco, Comfort, Sport, Smart, and Snow.
• Safety package: SmartSense includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist adds adaptive cruise control, curve speed control, and lane-centering assist, with lane-change assist starting in the SEL Premium option package. The SEL Premium package also adds front parking sensors, front cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, surround-view, and Blind-Spot View Monitor camera systems, which are not available with the XRT trim.
• Infotainment: All models get a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth for two devices, Bluelink+ connected services, Wi-Fi access, SiriusXM, and a rear-seat Quiet Mode. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard but require a cable, and wireless charging starts with SEL trim.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD model should get 21 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 18.8 mpg on the testing loop. The expert review also describes the Palisade as not particularly fuel efficient.

Which 2024 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 6 trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Palisade lineup, but you give up the richer equipment and premium feel found higher up.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it balances price and equipment well, and it unlocks wireless charging starting here. If you want a smart middle ground, this is the one to focus on.
• XRT: Choose this if you want the more rugged-looking trim in the lineup, but note that the SEL Premium package features are not available here.
• Limited: This trim adds more premium tech and comfort, including the digital instrumentation panel and Harman Kardon audio, making it a strong step up for shoppers who want a more upscale experience.
• Calligraphy: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with the digital gauges, premium audio, and the most upscale cabin presentation in the standard lineup.
• Calligraphy Night Edition: Pick this if you want the most distinctive appearance and the richest-feeling version, plus AWD-only hardware and the blacked-out styling treatment.

The SEL Premium package adds important safety and convenience features, including lane-change assist, front parking sensors, front cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, surround-view, and Blind-Spot View Monitor.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile deals.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,550 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.78% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,551, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $33,551 sits slightly below last year's $37,605.

That price movement suggests the Palisade has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price. If you purchase near the current average or below it, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss when it’s time to sell.

Strong demand for roomy, well-equipped three-row SUVs can also support resale, especially when the vehicle has a good ownership reputation. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2024 Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it gets a five-star rating for side-impact collisions plus a four-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai’s SmartSense suite includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist adds adaptive cruise control, curve speed control, and lane-centering assist, and the SEL Premium package adds lane-change assist.

A key caveat is that the IIHS rating does not include the newer moderate overlap frontal-impact test for rear occupant safety, and NHTSA frontal crash results are incomplete. That means you should treat the Palisade’s safety reputation as strong, but not fully complete in the available testing.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines a distinctive design with upscale materials, thoughtful amenities, and standard three-zone automatic climate control.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $30,873, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $33,551 average.
• It adds a facelift and more standard and optional tech and safety features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,678, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $33,551 average.
• It makes the SEL Premium a trim level and adds more standard equipment to the XRT.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, features, and current-market availability, the 2024 is the sweet spot. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2023 is the value play; if you want the newest version of this generation and don’t mind paying more, the 2025 is worth a look.
