How much does the 2024 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 4.98% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,876 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2024 Honda Pilot a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Honda Pilot earns a 4.4/5 user rating, which points to strong shopper satisfaction. Drivers repeatedly praise its spaciousness, its value for the money, and the fact that it can comfortably fit eight passengers. It also stands out for offering a lot of features in a straightforward package, which fits well if you want a practical three-row SUV with easy-to-use technology and broad family appeal. With 39.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially those who value a roomy cabin and everyday usability. That said, some shoppers noted concerns about engine performance, handling, and missing components at the price point, so used buyers should pay close attention to condition and maintenance history. For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about outright failure and more about finding a well-kept example that matches your expectations.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Pilot?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title status, and service records. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, electronics, and any convenience features you plan to use regularly. Because some owners were disappointed by missing components and drivability concerns, focus on overall condition and make sure everything works as expected before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,876 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.98% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,302, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $38,302 sits slightly below last year's $40,310.

That softer pricing can help you buy more efficiently today, but it also means future resale gains may be more modest if the market stays steady. For a seller, the current trend suggests you should expect value retention to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment. Well-kept examples should still attract interest because the Pilot's family-friendly layout remains a strong selling point.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,728, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $38,302 average.
• It brings a newly redesigned, more rugged look with added power and useful convenience features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $41,684, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $38,302 average.
• It keeps the formula simple with a single powertrain and a practical seating layout.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want a balanced mix of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value play; if you want the newest version and don't mind paying more, the 2025 is the alternative to compare.
