How much does the 2024 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 4.80% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,862 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda Pilot a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Honda Pilot earns a 4.4/5 user rating, which points to solid shopper satisfaction. Drivers most often praise its spaciousness, its ability to fit eight passengers, and the value it offers relative to other SUVs. It also stands out for family-friendly practicality and a strong feature set, especially if you want a roomy SUV that can handle daily duties and cargo-hauling needs. With 39.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially those who value the Pilot’s spaciousness and everyday usefulness. The overall tone suggests a vehicle people can count on for family duty and long-term use, even if some shoppers wish for stronger performance. For used buyers, that means the bigger ownership risk is less about broad reliability concerns and more about finding a well-kept example with a clean history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Pilot?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every listing you consider, even when the market looks clean. Put inspection priority on condition, especially signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or missing equipment. Focus on how the vehicle presents overall, since the Pilot’s value depends heavily on finding one that matches its family-friendly promise without hidden issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,862 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.80% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,678, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $38,678 sits slightly below last year's $40,628.

That softer pricing can help you buy more strategically now, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the market holds up. If prices continue to stabilize, a well-kept Pilot should remain appealing to family buyers who want space and practicality. Strong condition and a clean history will matter most when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.80% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $36,231, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $38,678 average.
• It brings a newly redesigned, more rugged look with strong comfort and useful tech.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $42,028, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $38,678 average.
• It keeps the formula simple with a practical setup and easy daily livability.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of price, inventory, and satisfaction. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want to pay more for the newer model year.
