How much does the 2024 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 4.90% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,760 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda Pilot a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Honda Pilot earns a 4.4/5 user rating, which points to solid shopper satisfaction. Drivers repeatedly praise its spaciousness, its ability to fit eight passengers, and the value it offers versus other SUVs. It also stands out for its family-friendly practicality and generous feature content, especially if you want a roomy midsize SUV that can handle daily duties and cargo needs. With 37.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights that many owners appreciate the Pilot’s dependable everyday usefulness, spacious cabin, and overall value. The recurring praise for comfort and practicality suggests this is a vehicle many drivers feel they can count on for family use and routine ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core formula and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by heavy family-duty use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Pilot?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Put inspection priority on the cabin, electronics, and any signs of hard family use, since this model is often chosen for hauling people and gear. It is also smart to focus on overall condition and completeness of equipment, especially if you want a well-kept example at a strong price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,760 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.90% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,768, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $38,814 sits slightly below last year's $40,815.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you purchase at a strong price and keep the vehicle in good condition, you may be better positioned when it is time to resell. The current trend also shows that buyers are still willing to shop this model year, which helps support future demand.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $36,572, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $38,814 average.
• It brings a newly redesigned, more rugged look with added comfort and convenience.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $42,146, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $38,814 average.
• It keeps the formula simple with a practical, easy-to-live-with setup.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-equipped, family-friendly Pilot with a softer price trend and decent deal availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the smarter value play; if you want the newer model-year path and do not mind paying more, the 2025 is the alternative to compare.
