Used 2024 Honda Passport for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2024 Honda Passport cost?

Prices have softened 5.86% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,831 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Honda Passport earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

The Passport’s appeal comes from its straightforward formula: a proven engine, easy-to-use technology, standard all-wheel drive, plenty of cargo space, and a comfortable ride. It is aimed at you if you want a practical, spacious crossover SUV rather than flashy styling or oversized screens.

The trade-offs are clear: it is not very fuel efficient, and pricing starts higher than the competition. Even so, 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Passport’s reliability case is built around its proven V6 powertrain, simple controls, and practical design. The expert review also describes the drivetrain as well-behaved and the steering as balanced and accurate, which supports the sense that this is a familiar, low-drama SUV to live with.

Honda’s standard maintenance coverage can also help ownership feel more predictable when you’re shopping new or lightly used examples. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a higher-mileage Passport may still carry the same fuel-economy and pricing compromises, so condition and service history matter more than chasing the lowest sticker price.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Passport?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a vehicle history report on any Passport you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the tires, suspension, brakes, and infotainment operation, since those are the kinds of areas where condition can vary most from one used SUV to another. Focus on how the vehicle was maintained and whether the cabin, cargo area, and exterior show signs of hard use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Passport comes with leather seats, a power moonroof, identical touchscreens, and all-wheel drive on every trim level, so you are not giving up the basics at the entry point. The TrailSport adds genuine all-terrain tires, roof rails, and LED fog lights, while the Black Edition also gets roof rails and LED fog lights; the base EX-L does not include those items.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Passport uses a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It is tuned for smooth, confident everyday driving, but fuel economy is only 19 mpg city, 24 highway, and 21 combined.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. There are no trim-level gaps in that standard safety suite.
• Infotainment: The Passport uses an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, and a wireless charging pad. The screen is smaller than many rivals’, and native navigation is available on the TrailSport and Black Edition trims.
• Fuel efficiency: The Passport is rated at 19 mpg city, 24 highway, and 21 combined.

Which 2024 Honda Passport trim should I buy?

The 2024 Honda Passport is offered in 3 trim levels: EX-L, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• EX-L: This is the trim to target if you want the Passport’s core strengths without paying for extra appearance or off-road-oriented equipment. It already includes leather seats, a power moonroof, identical touchscreens, and standard all-wheel drive, so it delivers the model’s essential value.
• TrailSport: This is the best-value trim if you want the most distinctive Passport character. It adds genuine all-terrain tires, roof rails, LED fog lights, and an off-road-tuned suspension, making it the most capability-focused choice in the lineup.
• Black Edition: Choose this if you want the most upscale presentation and the upgraded 10-speaker audio system. It also includes roof rails and LED fog lights, but it is more about appearance and equipment than added capability.

Honda’s standard safety package applies across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim for the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Passport?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,831 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.86% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,741, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $35,512 sits slightly below last year's $37,724.

That decline suggests the Passport has become a little more affordable for used buyers, which can help you enter the market at a better price point. For a future seller, the softer pricing means you should expect some depreciation pressure if you buy at the wrong time or overpay for a trim that does not add much market appeal.

The good news is that the Passport’s practical strengths still support demand: it is spacious, comfortable, and standard with all-wheel drive. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Honda Passport safe?

The 2024 Honda Passport earns an Acceptable rating in the passenger-side small overlap crash test and a Marginal rating in the updated side-impact crash tests from IIHS, and it earns five-star ratings overall from NHTSA, with four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover tests.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. That is a strong standard safety list, especially for a family-oriented SUV.

The main caveat is that the crash-test results are not class-leading, so you should not assume the Passport’s active safety equipment fully offsets those weaker test outcomes.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 refresh keeps the Passport focused on a proven engine, easy-to-use technology, and practical everyday usability.

The bottom line: If you want the Passport’s refreshed-but-familiar formula, the 2024 is the right year to target. It gives you standard all-wheel drive, strong utility, and a straightforward ownership experience, while still benefiting from softer pricing than a year ago. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years, but the 2024 is the better pick when you want the latest version of this simple, capable SUV.
