How much does the 2024 Honda HR-V cost?

There are 5,411 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Honda HR-V a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, smooth ride, and impressive features for the price, and they also like its stylish design and safety features. For everyday use, the HR-V fits well if you want a practical compact crossover with a versatile cabin and useful cargo space. The market also shows 35.8% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Honda HR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes that the HR-V feels dependable in daily use, with comfort and smooth operation standing out as recurring strengths. That kind of response matters for used buyers because it suggests the vehicle is more likely to deliver trouble-free ownership when maintained properly. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is buying a neglected example, so condition and service history matter more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda HR-V?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm the car has no hidden accident or title issues. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, interior, and mechanical condition so you can spot signs of wear that may not show up in photos. Focus especially on overall condition and maintenance records, since a clean-looking listing can still hide deferred upkeep.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda HR-V?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right deal.

• Deal availability: 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

What is the 2024 Honda HR-V's resale value?

The current average of $25,755 sits slightly above last year's $25,579.

That small increase suggests the HR-V has held its value fairly well, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. Stable pricing usually points to steady demand rather than sharp depreciation, and that can help protect your ownership costs over time. Because the market has remained consistent, a well-kept example should be easier to move when you're ready to trade in or sell privately.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda HR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,787, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $25,755 average.
• The redesign brought a more modern feel and a simpler trim lineup.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price stability, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the safer primary choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2023 is the better value path, especially if you find one in clean condition with the features you want.
