You should still run a history report on every listing and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Because this model is positioned as a luxury sedan, you’ll want to focus on how well the features work and whether the vehicle has been cared for consistently.

• Inventory: There are 283 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.84% compared with last year.

What is the 2024 Genesis G80's resale value?

The current average of $41,661 sits slightly below last year's $45,700.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on how well the car is maintained and how competitively it is priced when you decide to sell. A well-kept example should still attract interest because the model’s value proposition remains a key part of its appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Genesis G80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $53,026, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $41,661 average.
• It adds a refreshed, more sophisticated design and updated technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2024 is the stronger buy because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability and strong owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to spend more for the refreshed look and newer-feeling presentation, the 2025 is the better secondary path.
