How much does the 2024 Genesis G80 cost?

Prices have softened 7.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 293 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Genesis G80 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Genesis G80 earns a 5/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a well-rounded luxury sedan. The overview points to a polished, modern presentation, standard all-wheel drive, a wide 27-inch OLED display, and standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, all of which make it feel well equipped and easy to live with. It also stands out as a compelling alternative to pricier German rivals, especially if you want a luxury sedan that delivers a lot for the money. With 33.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Genesis G80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also emphasizes a strong value proposition, standard advanced driver-assistance systems, and a cabin designed for everyday usability. For used buyers, that combination suggests the bigger ownership risk is less about basic appeal and more about making sure you choose a well-kept example with the right maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Genesis G80?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or neglected maintenance. Pay extra attention to the technology and interior condition, since the overview notes that the tech can be unintuitive and the cabin is a major part of the G80’s appeal. A careful test drive should confirm that the features work as expected and that the car feels as polished as it should.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Genesis G80?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 293 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.87% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,195, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Genesis G80's resale value?

The current average of $43,373 sits slightly below last year's $47,076.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to help you buy more favorably today, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the car holds demand after purchase. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger hit later. The G80’s value-oriented positioning can help support interest from shoppers who want luxury features without paying German-brand pricing.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Genesis G80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $53,398, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $43,373 average.
• It adds a refreshed, more sophisticated-feeling package with stronger emphasis on design and ride quality.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2024 is the smarter starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer-feeling package and place extra weight on design and ride quality, the 2025 is the better alternative.
