How much does the 2024 GMC Yukon cost?

Is the 2024 GMC Yukon a good car?

Yes — the 2024 GMC Yukon earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a roomy, well-appointed full-size SUV with premium amenities, plush materials, and modern technology, and it specifically suits you if you want a large family hauler with an understated look rather than flashy styling. Its appeal is built around space, comfort, and a broad feature set, including useful capability for buyers who need a premium SUV that can do more than just commute. The market also shows 38.6% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview says this generation has not been especially strong for reliability so far, so you should treat it as a vehicle where condition and maintenance history matter. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is worth weighing carefully against the Yukon’s space, comfort, and feature content.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Yukon?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re serious about, even when the market looks clean overall. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with towing use. Focus your condition check on the interior electronics, suspension feel, and signs of heavy family or cargo wear.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Yukon?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,754 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.70% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $61,839, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $61,839 sits slightly below last year's $71,656.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more carefully now and may also limit how much depreciation is left to absorb in the near term. If you plan to resell later, the Yukon’s premium positioning and broad appeal should help, but the current pricing trend means future gains are more likely to come from buying well than from expecting appreciation. A clean history and strong condition will matter a lot when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current pricing, clean inventory, and strong owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2024’s combination of market softness and broad appeal.
