Used 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV for Sale nearPhoenix, AZ

How much does the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV cost?

Prices have softened 11.21% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 283 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating and 7.67/10 expert rating point to a vehicle that delivers on its mission if you want something distinctive. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV is best understood as an image vehicle with real utility: it offers up to 81.8 cubic feet of cargo space, seats five, and can travel up to 314 miles on a charge. That makes it more practical than its styling might suggest, especially if you want an electric SUV that feels purpose-built rather than conventional.

The trade-offs are just as clear. The expert review calls out poor visibility, lots of tire and wind noise, and inefficient operation, so you should expect compromises in everyday comfort and efficiency.

With 35.0% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The expert review describes the Hummer EV SUV as a vehicle that can work as a daily driver, but it also emphasizes that ownership requires accepting its compromises up front. That matters here because the vehicle’s size, weight, and off-road hardware make it more specialized than a typical used SUV.

The performance notes also suggest a robust electric setup, with strong output and serious capability, while the cost-effectiveness commentary makes clear that it is expensive to buy and inefficient to operate. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is not a lack of capability but the possibility that the vehicle’s size, tire wear, and operating costs may be more demanding than you expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this is a heavy, high-tech EV with specialized hardware. Pay close attention to visibility-related wear, tire condition, charging behavior, and whether the vehicle’s driver-assistance systems operate consistently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2X, 3X, and 3X Omega Limited Edition all share the same broad Hummer EV identity, but the review makes clear that the vehicle’s appeal comes from its Hummer design, Hummer capability, and impressive technology. The base setup already includes a long list of standard equipment, so you should focus on which trim gives you the features you actually want rather than assuming you need the top version.
• Powertrain: The reviewed SUV uses a three-motor setup with up to 860 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet of torque with launch control. It is described as heavy, quick, and capable, but also squirrelly under hard acceleration and less composed than you might expect from a conventional SUV.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front and rear pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, a surround-view camera system, and Super Cruise with a three-year subscription. There are no trim-level gaps noted among the listed trims.
• Infotainment: You get a configurable 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, plus wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Google Built-in, and over-the-air updates.
• Range & charging: The SUV can travel up to 314 miles on a charge, and the review notes compatibility with 300-kilowatt DC fast charging stations with up to 100 miles of added range in as few as 14 minutes. The battery pack is automatically preconditioned when you route to a charger.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm normal charging behavior at home and on DC fast chargers, and verify how much of the battery warranty remains. A clean charging history and consistent range readings matter more than a single advertised number.

Which 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV is offered in 3 trim levels: 2X, 3X, and 3X Omega Limited Edition.

Here's the short version:

• 2X: This is the trim to start with if you want the Hummer EV SUV experience with the broad standard equipment list already in place. It gets the same core driver-assistance suite and Super Cruise, so it should cover most buyers who care more about the vehicle’s identity and capability than about chasing the most extreme output.
• 3X: This is the best-value choice if you want the strongest version of the Hummer EV SUV’s performance and capability story. The review vehicle was a 3X, and the expert notes highlight the three-motor setup, serious off-road hardware, and the full suite of tech and driver-assistance features.
• 3X Omega Limited Edition: Choose this only if you specifically want the limited-edition version of the 3X formula. The review does not suggest a different core mission, so this trim makes the most sense for shoppers who value exclusivity as much as equipment.

Super Cruise is standard across the listed trims, and it comes with a three-year subscription.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 283 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.21% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $68,003, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV's resale value?

The current average of $68,004 sits slightly below last year's $76,592.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key question is whether the vehicle’s distinctive appeal and strong feature set can offset its high operating costs and niche positioning.

Because this model is more of an emotional purchase than a practical one, resale will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV safe?

The Hummer EV SUV earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The safety equipment list is extensive and includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front and rear pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and a surround-view camera system. Super Cruise is also standard and includes a three-year subscription.

One important caveat is that the review notes no crash-test ratings from IIHS or NHTSA were available at the time of writing. The expert review also describes the lane-keeping system as something you may not love in everyday driving, even though Super Cruise itself performed well in testing.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The expert review highlights a vehicle that combines Hummer design, Hummer capability, and impressive technology in a five-passenger SUV body style.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want the Hummer EV SUV’s distinctive personality, strong tech, and serious capability at a price that has already moved down from last year. If you are more price-sensitive, you can wait for a better deal, but the current market already gives you a reasonable opening to shop selectively.
