Used 2024 GMC Acadia for Sale nearAmarillo, TX

How much does the 2024 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 7.96% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,462 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2024 GMC Acadia earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

The Acadia is a redesigned three-row crossover SUV that aims for a bigger-SUV feel, and its larger footprint helps it stand out from more ordinary midsize crossovers. Inside, you get a well-executed cabin, easy-to-use technology, and plenty of cargo space, which makes it a strong fit if you want a practical family vehicle with a modern interior.

The trade-offs are that its design may be polarizing and its driving experience is fairly pedestrian. It is more compelling for space, tech, and overall utility than for excitement.

Good and great deals percentage: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are reasonable opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Acadia’s redesign brings a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a revamped interior, and a more substantial presence, all of which point to a modernized package. The expert review also describes the new turbo-four as more than up to the task, pulling strongly and consistently and enabling a 5,000-pound towing capacity with the available towing package.

On the ownership side, the Acadia’s standard warranty coverage is a three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper plan and a five-year, 100,000-mile powertrain plan on new vehicles. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about condition, maintenance history, and how the vehicle was driven than about any obvious red flags in the model’s basic setup.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior damage, and whether the vehicle’s features and trim level match the listing description.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Elevation comes standard with 18-inch wheels, while 20-inch wheels are optional. The Denali moves up to standard 20-inch wheels and optional 22s, and the AT4 gets model-specific 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. The AT4 also has unique styling cues, while the Denali leans into a more upscale look.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Acadia uses a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on Elevation and Denali, while all-wheel drive is standard on AT4 and available on the other trims.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels.
• Infotainment: You get a standard 11-inch digital instrument cluster and 15-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless device charging, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and at least one USB port per row are standard, and Google built-in apps are part of the setup.
• Fuel efficiency: GMC estimates 23 mpg combined, 20 mpg city, and 27 mpg highway with front-wheel drive, or 21 mpg combined, 19 mpg city, and 24 mpg highway with all-wheel drive.

Which 2024 GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Acadia is offered in 3 trim levels: Elevation, AT4, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• Elevation: This is the entry point, and it gives you the redesigned Acadia’s core strengths without pushing the price into the higher trims. It is the trim to start with if you want the new engine, the big touchscreen, and the roomy cabin at the lowest cost.
• AT4: This is the best fit if you want the Acadia’s more rugged character. It adds standard all-wheel drive, a twin-clutch system tuned for off-road driving, a 1.2-inch ride-height lift, skid plates, and Terrain mode, so it is the trim to choose if you want the most capability and the most distinctive personality.
• Denali: This is the upscale choice, with standard 20-inch wheels, optional 22s, and a more premium appearance. It is the trim to consider if you care most about comfort and presentation, though the review notes that the materials do not fully match the Denali billing.

The AT4 and Denali both bring their own trim-specific styling and equipment, while Super Cruise is available as an option on all trim levels.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,462 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.96% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,547, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $40,559 sits slightly below last year's $44,064.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may also mean less upside if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you should be better positioned to limit depreciation losses.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, traffic-sign recognition, a rear-seat reminder, and a vibrating safety alert seat. A rearview camera mirror and surround-view camera system are optional, and Super Cruise is available on all trim levels.

Because the 2024 GMC Acadia is a newly redesigned model, crash-test ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration were not available at the time of publication.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Redesigned for the new model year, it brings a bigger footprint, a revamped interior, and a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Acadia with the most modern cabin, tech, and packaging, the 2024 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby model years to see whether a lower purchase price outweighs the 2024’s redesign and updated equipment.
