How much does the 2024 Ford Edge cost?

Prices have softened 3.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,969 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for used shoppers.

Is the 2024 Ford Edge a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford Edge earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong shopper satisfaction. The overview describes it as a roomy, mainstream crossover with SUV-like space and ride height, making it a practical choice if you want a familiar family vehicle with a lot of interior room. It also highlights a broad, easy-to-live-with formula that stayed appealing through the end of its run. With 35.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of market opportunities to compare.

Is the 2024 Ford Edge reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview emphasizes a familiar, practical crossover layout with a roomy cabin and a straightforward ownership experience, which can be appealing if you want something comfortable and versatile. It also notes that the model’s basic formula aged over time, so condition matters more than chasing the newest features. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is best managed by focusing on maintenance history and overall vehicle condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Edge?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm that the vehicle’s condition matches the listing description. A careful inspection should focus on wear, maintenance records, and any signs that the crossover’s age-related technology or mechanical components have been neglected. Because this model is valued for comfort and space, make sure the cabin, cargo area, and everyday usability still feel clean and well cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Edge?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,969 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.44% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,475, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Edge's resale value?

The current average of $25,476 sits slightly below last year's $26,385.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more selectively now but may also mean future resale gains are limited if the trend continues. If you plan to sell later, the Edge’s broad appeal and roomy layout should help it stay relevant with family buyers. Still, the softer pricing environment means condition and mileage will matter even more when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Edge or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want the Edge at the end of its run with strong shopper satisfaction, decent deal availability, and a roomy, practical layout. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2024’s combination of inventory and market softness.
