There are 153 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated model with an expert rating of 7.7/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona is aimed at you if you want a muscle car that keeps the Charger’s visual drama while moving into the electric era. It comes in coupe and four-door sedan configurations, and its retro-themed styling is meant to feel familiar without looking dated. Performance is a core part of the appeal, with straight-line speed that matches the outgoing Charger’s headline numbers.

The main trade-offs are clear: it is expensive, the Scat Pack variant has limited range, and the front trunk is small. Even so, if you want a practical muscle car with plenty of headroom and legroom, this one fits that brief better than many performance EVs.

Good and great deals share: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some worthwhile opportunities.

Is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Charger Daytona is presented as a modernized take on a familiar nameplate, with an all-electric powertrain and a more stable, even-keeled suspension than the outgoing Charger. Its performance focus is still front and center, but the electric setup also brings a simpler mechanical layout than a traditional gas muscle car.

The performance notes point to strong acceleration, efficient highway passing, and a driving experience that feels more premium than the previous generation. For used buyers, the biggest long-term ownership risk is making sure the battery and charging behavior still match the car’s advertised range and daily-use needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a performance EV where tires, brakes, suspension, and charging hardware can see harder use. Focus on overall condition, charging consistency, and whether the car’s equipment matches the trim and options you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The R/T gives you the standard-output dual-motor setup, while the Scat Pack adds much more power and more aggressive equipment. The Plus package adds a long list of convenience features, and the Scat Pack also gets a standard head-up display and surround-view camera that are optional on the R/T.
• Powertrain: Both versions use an all-wheel-drive dual electric motor arrangement. The R/T produces 456 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque, while the Scat Pack delivers 630 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. The Scat Pack also adds drive modes such as Track and Drag, plus the Powershot feature.
• Safety package: Every Charger Daytona includes full-speed automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, driver drowsiness monitor, front, rear, and side parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and active crash notification. A head-up display and surround-view camera are standard on the Scat Pack and optional on the R/T.
• Infotainment: The Charger Daytona uses a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with UConnect 5. The R/T gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, while a 16-inch display is optional and standard on the Scat Pack. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on the R/T, along with Amazon Alexa, navigation, and EV/performance pages.
• Range & charging: The R/T is rated at 308 miles of range with 98 mpge combined, while the Scat Pack is rated at 241 miles with 78 mpge combined. Both can recharge from 20 percent to 80 percent in 24 minutes using 240-volt DC fast charging.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm how the car has been charged, and review remaining battery warranty coverage. Home charging is generally easier on the battery than frequent DC fast charging, so usage history matters.

Which 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona trim should I buy?

The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona is offered in 2 trim levels: R/T and Scat Pack.

Here's the short version:

• R/T: This is the better-value choice if you want the Charger Daytona experience without paying for the most extreme output. You still get the dual-motor AWD setup, strong acceleration, standard wireless smartphone integration, and the core safety suite. It makes the most sense if you want the style and performance without stretching to the pricier trim.
• Scat Pack: This is the one to choose if you want the full performance story. It brings 630 horsepower, standard 16-inch driver display, standard head-up display, standard surround-view camera, and the most aggressive driving character in the lineup. It suits you best if outright speed matters more than range or price.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but the head-up display and surround-view camera are standard only on the Scat Pack and optional on the R/T.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 153 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,916, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona's resale value?

The current average of $35,936 sits slightly below last year's $48,805.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped.

Because this model still has strong appeal as a head-turning electric muscle car, well-kept examples should continue to attract attention. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona safe?

The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona has not been crash tested by either NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Dodge equips every Charger Daytona with full-speed automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, driver drowsiness monitor, front, rear, and side parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and active crash notification. A head-up display and surround-view parking camera are standard on the Scat Pack and optional on the R/T.

The main caveat is that crash-test results are still unavailable, so you should lean more heavily on the standard safety equipment and the car’s overall condition when shopping used.

Should I buy a 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 brings the Charger Daytona’s first full electric muscle-car formula with coupe and sedan body styles.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,345, the 2025 costs less than the current year's $35,936 average.
• It adds a more polished take on the electric muscle-car formula.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of style, performance, and current-market availability, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2025 is the more budget-friendly path.
