Used 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona for Sale nearEdenton, NC

How much does the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona cost?

Prices have softened 25.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 148 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

It’s aimed at you if you want a Charger that keeps the nameplate’s visual drama while moving into the electric era. The coupe and four-door sedan body styles, retro-themed design, and strong straight-line speed give it a clear identity, while the roomy cabin helps it work as more than just a style piece.

The trade-offs are just as clear: it is expensive, and the Scat Pack’s range is limited. Even so, the market still shows 33.8% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Charger Daytona is presented as a modernized take on a familiar muscle-car formula, with an electric powertrain and updated underpinnings meant to bring the car into the 21st century. Its performance notes point to strong acceleration and a stable, more refined ride than the previous Charger, which are both encouraging signs for everyday use.

The battery-and-electric setup also brings a different ownership profile than a gas car, so you should pay close attention to charging habits, battery condition, and how the car has been used. For a used EV, the main long-term risk is buying one that has been fast-charged heavily or poorly maintained without enough remaining battery warranty coverage to protect you.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a performance-oriented EV with a high sticker price. Focus on overall condition, charging behavior, tire wear, and whether the car has been used hard or modified.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The R/T and Scat Pack differ meaningfully in output and equipment, and the Plus package adds a long list of comfort and convenience features. The Scat Pack also gets a larger standard display and more aggressive hardware, while the R/T is the more approachable starting point.
• Powertrain: Both versions use a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. The R/T makes 456 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque, while the Scat Pack raises output to 630 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: Every Charger Daytona includes full-speed automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, driver drowsiness monitor, front, rear, and side parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and active crash notification. A head-up instrument display and surround-view parking camera are standard on the Scat Pack and optional on the R/T.
• Infotainment: The standard setup includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen with UConnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, navigation, and a nine-speaker Alpine stereo. The R/T gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, while the Scat Pack standardizes a 16-inch display.
• Range & charging: The R/T is rated at 308 miles of range, while the Scat Pack is rated at 241 miles. Both can recharge from 20 percent to 80 percent in 24 minutes using DC fast charging.
• Battery health: Check battery state-of-health, ask how the car was typically charged, and confirm whether it spent most of its life on home charging or frequent DC fast charging. You should also verify how much battery warranty coverage remains.

Which 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona trim should I buy?

The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona is offered in 2 trim levels: R/T and Scat Pack.

Here's the short version:

• R/T: This is the better-value choice if you want the Charger Daytona experience with the lower starting point. It still delivers 456 horsepower, standard all-wheel drive, wireless phone integration, navigation, and the core EV driving experience without stepping all the way up to the more expensive Scat Pack.
• Scat Pack: Choose this if you want the full performance version. It brings 630 horsepower, the 16-inch display, additional drive modes, and the more aggressive hardware and track-oriented extras that make it the enthusiast pick.

A safety-package note: the head-up display and surround-view camera are standard on the Scat Pack and optional on the R/T.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 148 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 25.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,942, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona's resale value?

The current average of $36,095 sits slightly below last year's $48,694.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, the key question is whether the model’s strong styling and performance keep demand steady enough to support values after the initial depreciation has played out.

Because this model still has strong appeal as a distinctive electric muscle car, well-kept examples should remain easier to market than more ordinary EVs. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona safe?

It earns full-speed automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, driver drowsiness monitor, front, rear, and side parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and active crash notification as standard safety equipment.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Dodge also includes a head-up instrument display and surround-view parking camera on the Scat Pack, with those features optional on the R/T. Since neither NHTSA nor IIHS has crash tested the 2024 model year, you should lean more heavily on the standard safety equipment and your own inspection process when evaluating a used example.

Should I buy a 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 25.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 launches Dodge’s electric Charger formula with coupe and sedan body styles and strong straight-line performance.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,771, the 2025 costs less than the current year's $36,095 average.
• It adds the first true all-electric muscle-car identity with more dramatic theater and attitude.

The bottom line: If you want the current-year Charger Daytona at a softened price and with strong inventory, the 2024 is the safer buy. If you’re more price-sensitive and want the next model year’s lower average price, the 2025 is worth a look.
