Used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 6.48% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,056 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

The Colorado is positioned as a modern lifestyle pickup, with a bold redesign, easy-to-use technology, refined on-road handling, and impressive off-road handling. That makes it a strong fit if you want a truck that can handle daily driving and recreation without feeling stripped down.

The main trade-offs are the drab cabin materials, the single cab/bed style, and the high price. Those compromises matter most if you want maximum interior polish or more body-style flexibility.

The market still looks reasonably supportive, with 37.0% of listings priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Colorado’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward turbocharged four-cylinder setup and its emphasis on modern, well-integrated equipment rather than complexity for its own sake. The truck’s powertrain is described as delivering solid low-end power, and the eight-speed automatic does a good job managing power at different speeds.

Its standard equipment also leans practical, with a broad set of everyday features and a cabin layout that is easy to use. If you’re shopping used, the biggest long-term ownership risk is that higher trim levels and off-road versions can be expensive to buy and maintain relative to the truck’s size.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering an off-road-oriented trim or a truck that may have seen trail use. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, suspension wear, and signs of hard use, since the Colorado is often bought for recreation as much as commuting.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The WT is the base model, and it still brings a fully digital instrument panel, an 11.3-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, and satellite radio, but it keeps cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats. The LT is the value play because it adds alloy wheels, a remote locking tailgate, rear air vents, a rear USB port, and a full front center console; the LT Convenience Package adds fog lights, the EZ-Lift and Lower tailgate, a sliding rear window, a tilt-telescope steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
• Powertrain: The Colorado comes exclusively with turbocharged four-cylinder power. The base version makes 237 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, while the Turbo Max version makes 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the base rear-wheel-drive version is the most efficient.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Teen Driver. The LT Convenience Package III adds reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert, while adaptive cruise control is available on certain trim levels.
• Infotainment: Every Colorado gets an 11.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, an 11-inch fully digital instrument panel, two front USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and satellite radio. The LT adds wireless device charging and a rear USB port, and the LT Convenience Package adds two more USB ports plus two wall-style power outlets.
• Fuel efficiency: The base rear-wheel-drive version returns 20 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. The four-wheel-drive version returns 18 mpg city, 23 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined. The standard ZR2 returns 17 mpg across the board, and the ZR2 Bison returns 16 mpg across the board.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Colorado trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado is offered in 5 trim levels: WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2.

Here's the short version:

• WT: This is the entry point, but it is not bare-bones. You get the core tech and safety setup, so it works if you want the lowest-cost way into the lineup and can live with the simpler cabin.
• LT: This is the best-value trim because it adds meaningful everyday upgrades like alloy wheels, a better tailgate setup, rear air vents, and a more useful center console. If you want the smartest balance of price and comfort, this is the one to target.
• Trail Boss: Choose this if you want a more off-road-focused setup, including a lifted suspension, all-terrain tires, hill-descent control, and an automatically locking rear differential.
• Z71: This trim keeps many of the off-road chassis enhancements while adding more comfort and convenience touches, making it a good middle ground if you want capability without going all the way to the top end.
• ZR2: This is the most trail-ready version, with more serious off-road hardware and features like remote start, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-assisted tailgate, and a spray-on bed-liner.

The LT Convenience Package III is the key safety-package upgrade to look for if you want blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $36,388 sits slightly below last year's $38,908.

That decline suggests the market has cooled enough to give used buyers some negotiating room, but it also means future sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. The current range still shows healthy demand, especially for well-equipped trims and cleaner examples.

Because the Colorado has strong owner satisfaction ratings, it should continue to attract buyers when it’s time to resell. Trucks with the right mix of condition, equipment, and mileage should hold up better than rougher examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines a bold redesign with easy-to-use technology and strong off-road capability.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,388, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,388 average.
• It focuses on the basics buyers want, with modern tech and strong capability.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $38,851, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $36,388 average.
• It adds a right-sized package with strong standard turbo power and broad off-road appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of modern features, strong capability, and a healthier used-market price trend, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the better value play; if you want the newest version and can pay more, the 2025 is the alternative to compare.
