Used 2024 Cadillac CT5 for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2024 Cadillac CT5 cost?

Prices have softened 12.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,082 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Cadillac CT5 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Cadillac CT5 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

The CT5 is a midsize luxury sedan that blends style, driving enjoyment, and multiple powertrain choices. It also stands out as a decent value in a competitive segment, while remaining appealing if you want a distinctive luxury sedan with a more engaging character than many rivals.

The trade-offs are clear: cargo space is limited, advanced safety features are not standard, and the interior design is only mediocre. Even so, the CT5’s fun-to-drive nature and broad powertrain lineup make it a strong fit if you value personality and road feel over maximum practicality.

33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Cadillac CT5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The CT5’s appeal is reinforced by its balanced character: it’s designed to be both a luxury sedan and an engaging driver’s car. The available powertrains, composed handling, and solid everyday usability all point to a model that’s built to satisfy owners over time.

Its performance tuning also supports confidence in daily use, with the car described as enjoyable to drive and decently quick in V6 form. Cadillac’s warranty coverage is also competitive for the class, which helps reduce early ownership worry.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a well-optioned CT5 can be expensive to maintain and repair if you choose a heavily equipped example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Cadillac CT5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on higher-mileage or heavily optioned cars. Focus on overall condition, because the CT5’s appeal depends heavily on how well the cabin, electronics, and optional equipment have been maintained.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base CT5 Luxury is the entry point, while Premium Luxury and Sport add more equipment and a more upscale or athletic presentation. The Sport trim also gets styling touches like a rear spoiler and alloy pedals, and the cabin’s appeal leans more on features than visual polish.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6, both paired with a 10-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is optional, and the V6 brings stronger acceleration and more relaxed passing power.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assist features include forward-collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, a rear-seat reminder, buckle-to-drive, and a vibrating Safety Alert Seat. Premium Luxury and Sport models can also be equipped with Super Cruise.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Technology Package adds a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a head-up display, while wireless phone charging and three USB ports are standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbo-four is rated at 27 mpg combined with RWD and 25 mpg combined with AWD. The twin-turbo V6 is rated at 22 mpg combined with RWD and 21 mpg combined with AWD.

Which 2024 Cadillac CT5 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Cadillac CT5 is offered in 5 trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, CT5-V, and CT5-V Blackwing.

Here's the short version:

• Luxury: This is the entry trim, and it makes sense if you want the CT5’s style and driving character at the lowest starting point. It gives you the core sedan experience, but you’ll want to compare it carefully against the higher trims if you care about upscale features or a more complete luxury feel.
• Premium Luxury: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it balances equipment, comfort, and available tech without jumping into the performance models. It’s also one of the trims that can be equipped with Super Cruise, which is a major advantage if you want advanced highway assistance.
• Sport: Choose this if you want the same general equipment level as Premium Luxury but prefer a more aggressive look. It adds styling details like a rear spoiler and alloy pedals, and it also can be equipped with Super Cruise.
• CT5-V: This is the choice if you want more performance without going all the way to the Blackwing. It brings a tuned version of the twin-turbo V6 and a more serious driving focus.
• CT5-V Blackwing: This is the high-performance flagship, with a supercharged V8 and rear-wheel-drive-only layout. It’s the one to buy if outright power and enthusiast appeal matter most.

Premium Luxury is the best-value trim for most used buyers, especially if you want the strongest mix of comfort, features, and available driver assistance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac CT5?

The market looks moderately favorable if you’re a selective buyer.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,082 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.99% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,425, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Cadillac CT5's resale value?

The current average of $38,458 sits slightly below last year's $44,201.

That drop suggests the CT5 has become more affordable for used buyers, but it also means sellers may need to price competitively to move inventory. If you’re planning to resell later, the current market shows that value has softened, so condition and equipment will matter a lot when it’s time to list.

Well-equipped examples with desirable features should hold up better than stripped-down cars, especially if they’re clean and accident-free. A strong feature set can help offset broader market softness when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Cadillac CT5 safe?

The 2024 Cadillac CT5 earns five-star ratings across the board from NHTSA, including five-star overall, frontal, side, and rollover crash-test results.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, a rear-seat reminder, buckle-to-drive, and a vibrating Safety Alert Seat. Premium Luxury and Sport models can also be equipped with Super Cruise, Cadillac’s hands-free highway driving system.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you’ll want to check carefully which options are fitted on any used example you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac CT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged and remains a decent value with engaging driving character.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,208, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $38,458 average.
• It emphasizes sharp handling and distinctive styling.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $44,070, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $38,458 average.
• It adds a new 33-inch display and more tech-focused updates.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, inventory, and proven appeal, the 2024 is the smart default. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 can save you money while keeping much of the CT5’s character. If you want newer tech and don’t mind paying more, the 2025 is the upgrade path to consider.
