Used 2024 Buick Envista for Sale near California

How much does the 2024 Buick Envista cost?

Prices have softened 4.30% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,479 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Buick Envista a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Buick Envista earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

That lines up with Buick’s goal for this model: you get a more upscale feel than the mainstream crossover hardware might suggest, plus a style-forward design and a comfort-first character. The trade-offs are clear, though: AWD is not available, cargo space is limited, and the ergonomic design is not especially strong.

For you, that means the Envista makes the most sense if you want style and comfort in a smaller crossover and you’re not shopping for maximum utility or all-weather traction. The market also shows 39.8% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Buick Envista reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Buick describes the Envista as a small, sensible car that gives buyers something extra, and the expert review emphasizes that it feels more refined and more comfortable than its platform-mate. The powertrain is described as more refined than the specs suggest, with smooth power delivery and a laid-back driving feel.

On the ownership side, the warranty coverage includes a three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty and a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. That helps reduce early ownership risk, but as a used buyer you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition because this is an entry-level vehicle with limited cargo space and no AWD option.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Buick Envista?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing photos and description. A pre-purchase inspection is especially useful if you’re comparing multiple trims, because the Envista’s equipment mix changes meaningfully by version. Focus on cabin wear, wheel and tire condition, and whether the car’s features work as advertised.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Preferred is the most straightforward version, while the Sport Touring adds black exterior trim and 18-inch wheels, and the Avenir brings bright exterior trim, standard 19-inch wheels, and leather seats. The higher trims also add interior contrast stitching, and the Avenir gets an eight-way power driver’s seat standard.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. It makes 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, and Buick says the setup is more refined than the specs suggest.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance tech includes automatic emergency braking with front pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, automatic high beams, lane-keep assist, and lane-departure warning. Optional features include adaptive cruise control, lane-change alert with side blind-zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch touchscreen and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster standard, along with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless phone charging, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Fuel efficiency: The Envista returns 30 mpg combined (28 mpg city, 32 mpg highway).

Which 2024 Buick Envista trim should I buy?

The 2024 Buick Envista is offered in 3 trim levels: Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the value play if you want the Envista’s core appeal at the lowest price. You still get the standard 11-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone integration, and the same 1.2-liter turbo powertrain, so it covers the essentials well.
• Sport Touring: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a more distinctive look with black exterior trim and 18-inch wheels, while keeping the same comfort-focused character and core tech. If you want a little more style without jumping to the top trim, this is the one to target.
• Avenir: Choose this if you want the most upscale Envista. It adds bright exterior trim, standard 19-inch wheels, leather seats, an eight-way power driver’s seat, and the Buick-exclusive Watts Link rear suspension on 19-inch-wheel models.

Safety equipment is broadly the same across the lineup, with optional driver-assistance features available rather than bundled into a major trim-specific safety package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Buick Envista?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop but should still move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 39.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,479 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.30% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,623, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Buick Envista's resale value?

The current average of $23,766 sits slightly below last year's $24,835.

That decline suggests the market has softened, which can help you as a buyer but may put some pressure on future resale if you overpay today. The good news is that the Envista’s value proposition is still strong: it offers upscale styling, solid fuel economy, and a more premium feel than many entry-level crossovers.

If you buy at the right price and keep the car in good condition, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Buick Envista safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance tech includes automatic emergency braking with front pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, automatic high beams, lane-keep assist, and lane-departure warning. Optional features include adaptive cruise control, lane-change alert with side blind-zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist.

Because crash-test ratings were not available at the time of publication, you should lean more heavily on the standard safety equipment and the availability of optional driver aids when comparing used examples. If you want the most complete setup, look for a car equipped with the optional safety features rather than assuming every listing has them.

Should I buy a 2024 Buick Envista or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model year launches the Envista as Buick’s new entry-level crossover, with a more upscale feel, three trims, and a standard 11-inch touchscreen.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Envista with the strongest mix of style, comfort, and value, the 2024 is the one to target. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, you can also use the market softness to shop aggressively and focus on the cleanest, best-equipped example rather than stretching for a newer alternative.
