Is the 2024 Buick Envision a good car?

The 2024 Buick Envision stands out as a compact SUV that leans harder into upscale presentation than many mainstream rivals. Buick’s QuietTuning refinement, stylish interior treatment, and distinctive front-end design help give it a more premium feel, while the model’s standard 30-inch curved display adds a modern cabin centerpiece.

For 2024, the Envision received a dramatically new front end with a modern style similar to that of other Buick models. The interior also gained a new dashboard with a 30-inch display as standard and updated infotainment software, and front-wheel-drive trims were dropped. Those changes make this model year especially appealing for buyers who want a more contemporary look and a richer-feeling interior without moving into a true luxury-brand price bracket.

35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Buick Envision reliable?

The 2024 Buick Envision stands out as a compact SUV that leans harder into upscale presentation than many mainstream rivals. Buick’s QuietTuning refinement, stylish interior treatment, and distinctive front-end design help give it a more premium feel, while the model’s standard 30-inch curved display adds a modern cabin centerpiece.

The Envision’s strengths are not limited to style. It comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, and the model is known for a comfortable ride and generous standard equipment. At the same time, it is not positioned as a full luxury alternative, so shoppers expecting the depth of prestige or performance found in some premium rivals may find it less compelling on that front.

For used buyers, that means your long-term ownership risk is more about whether the vehicle’s condition and maintenance history match its premium-leaning promise than about chasing a true luxury-car ownership experience.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Buick Envision?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the cabin technology and interior features work as expected, since those are central to the Envision’s appeal.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Buick Envision?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,145 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,413, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Buick Envision's resale value?

The current average of $26,429 sits slightly below last year's $29,406.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped and maintained. If you keep the Envision in strong shape, you’ll be better positioned to stand out in a market where prices have already softened.

Should I buy a 2024 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.12% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better pick if you want the newer styling, standard 30-inch display, and a more contemporary cabin without stepping into luxury-brand pricing. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2024 makes the strongest case when you value the updated look and premium-leaning feel most.
