Is the 2024 BMW i7 a good car?

The 2024 BMW i7 is BMW’s flagship electric sedan, and it stands out for blending traditional luxury-sedan character with EV appeal. It brings the familiar feel of a premium BMW flagship while adding an all-electric powertrain, which makes it especially appealing if you want a high-end EV without giving up the brand’s sedan-first identity.

The 2023 model-year overview points to strong handling, comfort, and technology, along with some tradeoffs in practicality and standard safety content. That context suggests you should expect a luxury-first experience rather than a utility-first one.

37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a meaningful share of market options to target.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW i7?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the exterior, interior, and any signs of prior repair, since even clean inventory can vary in wear. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence so you can separate a well-kept example from one that simply looks good online.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW i7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully and compare listings.

If you find a listing below $65,868, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW i7's resale value?

The current average of $65,868 sits slightly below last year's $86,259.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped relative to similar listings. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW i7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.64% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $60,822, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $65,868 average.
• It blends flagship luxury with EV appeal.

The bottom line: choose the 2024 if you want the stronger current-market mix of inventory, deal availability, and cleaner listings. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better path because it comes in lower while still delivering the core i7 experience.
