Is the 2024 BMW i7 a good car?

The 2024 BMW i7 is a flagship electric sedan that blends traditional luxury-sedan appeal with EV character, and it stands out for buyers who want a high-end BMW experience in electric form. It is positioned as an electric version of a gasoline flagship rather than a ground-up EV, which gives you a familiar luxury formula with a different powertrain.

39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is solid market opportunity if you shop carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW i7?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing details. Prioritize a thorough inspection of cosmetic wear, electronics, and any signs of prior damage or repair. Because this is a luxury EV, you should focus on overall condition and maintenance consistency rather than assuming every low-mileage example is automatically the best buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW i7?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and enough deal activity to reward careful shopping.

• Deal availability: 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 297 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $66,290, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW i7's resale value?

The current average of $66,290 sits slightly below last year's $86,390.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped. If you keep the vehicle clean and well documented, you should be in a better position when it is time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW i7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.27% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• It introduced BMW’s electric flagship with strong comfort, handling, and technology.

The bottom line: The 2024 BMW i7 makes the most sense if you want the newer-year market with better pricing momentum and a healthy share of clean listings. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2023 is worth a look because it established the model’s core appeal and may offer a lower entry point.
