Is the 2024 BMW i7 a good car?

The 2024 BMW i7 is BMW’s flagship electric sedan, and it stands out as an electric version of the 7 Series rather than a ground-up EV. That gives you a familiar luxury-sedan feel with an all-electric powertrain, and the model’s positioning makes it a distinctive choice if you want a premium EV with traditional flagship character.

36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a useful share of market-friendly options to consider.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW i7?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or inconsistent repairs. Focus on overall condition, since a luxury EV like this can vary a lot in how carefully it was maintained and driven.

What is the 2024 BMW i7's resale value?

The current average of $65,355 sits slightly below last year's $84,171.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. If you plan to sell later, the current trend may limit upside unless demand strengthens or supply tightens. For now, the resale picture looks more stable for buyers than for short-term sellers.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW i7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.35% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• The 2023 brings the i7’s flagship EV debut and familiar 7 Series character.

The bottom line:
You should start with the 2024 if you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and accident-free availability. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2023 is worth a look because it introduced the i7 formula and may offer a lower entry point depending on the listing.
