Should I buy a 2024 BMW i4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $46,878, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,432 average.
• It adds subtle design updates, a new infotainment system, and Plug & Charge convenience.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2024 is the stronger starting point because pricing has eased and inventory quality looks good. If you care more about the newer updates and are willing to pay a premium, the 2025 is the better alternative; price-sensitive buyers should stay focused on the 2024.
