That price movement suggests the model has softened enough to help you buy more selectively today. A well-kept example should hold up better than one that shows wear or has a spotty history.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW X4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.60% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is a sensible choice if you want a year with softer pricing and a decent share of clean, fairly priced listings. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower average price better fits your budget.
