You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing matches its advertised condition. Focus your attention on overall condition, maintenance history, and any evidence of prior damage even when the listing appears clean.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW X4?

This looks like a buyer-friendly moment, with pricing below last year’s level and a healthy share of listings offering value.

• Deal availability: 40.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 598 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.46% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,522, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW X4's resale value?

The current average of $45,522 sits slightly below last year's $46,672.

That suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the recent decline means resale value may depend more heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the vehicle is maintained. If you keep the car clean, documented, and accident-free, you’ll be in a better position to protect value when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW X4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.46% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the primary year to target if you want a strong mix of pricing pressure and healthy inventory quality. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2024’s current market advantages.
