How much does the 2024 BMW M2 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 238 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 BMW M2 a good car?

The 2024 BMW M2 stands out as a compact, rear-wheel-drive performance coupe that puts driving enjoyment first. BMW positioned it as the entry point to its M lineup, and it still manages to balance strong performance with everyday usability.

You also get a 14-cubic-foot trunk, a rear seat that works for two adults, and enough room up front for both occupants, so it is more practical than many sports cars. For buyers who want a small coupe with a manual transmission option and a chassis tuned for enthusiastic driving, it has a clear identity. 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 BMW M2 reliable?

The 2024 BMW M2 is presented as a focused performance coupe with a strong equipment list and a straightforward mechanical formula. It combines a twin-turbo inline-six, rear-wheel drive, and a manual or automatic transmission choice, which keeps the car centered on driving engagement rather than complexity.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a performance coupe with a stiff ride and high-output hardware can be less forgiving if it has been driven hard or maintained inconsistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW M2?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car has a clean maintenance record, especially if it has been modified or tracked. Put the inspection priority on the condition of the drivetrain, brakes, tires, and suspension, since those are the areas most likely to show hard use on a performance coupe. Focus on overall wear and consistency between the car’s mileage, condition, and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW M2?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep buyer’s bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 238 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $63,567, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW M2's resale value?

The current average of $66,317 sits slightly below last year's $66,449.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable rather than volatile. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you should have a decent chance of preserving value relative to other performance coupes. The key for a future seller is to avoid neglect, because buyers in this segment tend to pay attention to condition, history, and how the car was used.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW M2 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• It offers a more focused, old-school driver’s-car feel with strong everyday usability.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better primary choice if you want the current-year car with stable pricing and a healthy pool of clean listings. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is worth a look because it keeps the same enthusiast-first character while potentially opening up more room in your budget.
