How much does the 2024 BMW M2 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 243 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 BMW M2 a good car?

The 2024 BMW M2 stands out as a compact performance coupe that puts driving enjoyment ahead of everyday practicality. It combines rear-wheel drive with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six, and it balances that performance focus with usable tech and enough day-to-day functionality to make sense for more than just weekend drives.

Inside, you get BMW’s Curved Display layout, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Harman Kardon audio system. The car also includes dynamic cruise control, forward-collision warning with brake assist, lane-departure warning, and front and rear park-assist sensors, while the rear seat and trunk make it more usable than many performance coupes.

With 36.6% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 BMW M2 reliable?

The 2024 BMW M2 is built around a focused performance formula, with a rear-wheel-drive layout, a twin-turbo inline-six, and a chassis tuned for road and track use. Its standard equipment and everyday usability help it feel like a well-rounded performance coupe rather than a stripped-down toy.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a car designed around performance and a stiff ride can be less forgiving if it has been driven hard or maintained inconsistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW M2?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car’s maintenance and ownership records line up with its mileage and condition. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has been modified, tracked, or shows signs of aggressive use. Focus on wear items, tire condition, brake condition, and any signs that the stiff suspension or performance driving has taken a toll.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW M2?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and disciplined.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 243 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $63,539, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW M2's resale value?

The current average of $66,073 sits slightly above last year's $66,053.

That small increase suggests the market has been stable, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. A steady price trend can help you preserve value as long as the car stays clean, unmodified, and well documented. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintenance records organized, you should be in a stronger position when it’s time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW M2 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• It delivers a more focused, enthusiast-oriented driving character.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2024 if you want a compact performance coupe with stable pricing, strong clean-inventory availability, and broad everyday appeal. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is worth a look because it offers a similar core formula and may open up more room to negotiate depending on the specific listing.
