How much does the 2024 BMW 3 Series cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,052 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 BMW 3 Series a good car?

Yes — the 2024 BMW 3 Series earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview shows why: you get a sedan that blends performance, handling, and luxury, while still staying practical enough for everyday use. It also offers a wide range of personalities, from the 330i to the M340i and M3, so you can choose the balance of comfort and performance that fits your needs. With 37.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2024 BMW 3 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a car that stays appealing because it combines premium driving dynamics with modern technology and everyday usability. It also notes that the cabin is upscale and the car remains versatile across trims, which can help it feel like a well-rounded ownership choice.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that it is still a complex and expensive car to buy and own.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW 3 Series?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a careful inspection of the cabin, electronics, and any optional driver-assistance equipment. The overview also notes that some safety features are optional, so you should confirm exactly what the car has before you buy. Because the 330e loses cargo room to its battery pack, condition and practicality checks matter even more if you want maximum everyday usefulness.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW 3 Series?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,052 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,737, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW 3 Series's resale value?

The current average of $37,234 sits slightly above last year's $36,942.

That small increase suggests the market has stayed stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to steady demand instead of a weakening market. The 3 Series also has broad appeal thanks to its mix of performance, luxury, and practicality, which can support buyer interest when you decide to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW 3 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,030, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $37,234 average.
• It adds a refreshed cabin and updated tech.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $40,992, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,234 average.
• It refines the formula with even more polished driving enjoyment.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price stability, strong satisfaction, and broad inventory, the 2024 is the primary choice. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the smarter value play because it still brings the refreshed design and modernized cabin at a lower price.
