The overview describes the Q5 as a refined package with few major weak spots, but it also notes that Audi’s brand record is only average and that some versions have had MMI infotainment issues. For used buyers, that means the model can make sense if you prioritize comfort and quality, but you should still budget for careful inspection and be mindful of potential electronics-related ownership risk.

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the car’s background and verify that the title is clean. Put the inspection focus on the cabin electronics, infotainment behavior, and overall condition, since the model’s premium appeal depends heavily on how well those systems and materials have held up. It also makes sense to check that the features you want are actually present, because trim content can vary meaningfully.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• It emphasizes sporty character with calm, quiet comfort.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $43,466, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $30,918 average.
• It brings a modern redesign with updated design and tech.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-equipped luxury SUV with strong market availability and a softer price than last year. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the smarter value play; if you want the newest redesign and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
