You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s background matches the listing details. Focus on how well the car has been maintained, since a premium sedan like this is best bought when its condition supports the upscale experience you expect.

What is the 2024 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $29,616 sits slightly below last year's $36,049.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price carefully to stay competitive. The current range shows that values have already adjusted downward, so resale performance will likely depend on how well the car is maintained and how it compares with similar listings when you decide to sell. A clean, well-kept example should still attract interest from shoppers looking for a premium sedan with a strong value story.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.85% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 Audi A6 makes the most sense if you want a refined, understated luxury sedan and you value current pricing that has moved lower than last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a slightly older example gives you a lower entry point while still delivering the same core appeal.
