Is the 2024 Audi A6 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Audi A6 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

The A6 stands out for blending understated luxury with a strong technology focus, and it has long been known as a place where Audi introduces new features before they spread through the brand. Its conservative design also tends to age well, which helps if you want a premium sedan that feels refined without looking overly flashy. For you, that makes it a good fit if you value comfort, tech, and a restrained luxury look over flashier styling.

35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Audi A6 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Audi A6’s appeal comes from its mix of premium feel, useful tech, and a design that tends to age well. It is also described as a model that has long served as a test bed for new features, which supports its reputation for being tech-forward within the brand. For used buyers, that usually means you should expect a sophisticated ownership experience, but you should still be attentive to how well the car has been maintained over time.

Long-term ownership risk is best managed by choosing a well-kept example and making sure the car’s electronics and comfort features are working as intended.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi A6?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing description. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a tech-heavy luxury sedan like this, since you want to confirm that the infotainment system, comfort features, and other electronics are functioning properly. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records so you can separate a clean, well-kept example from one that may have hidden issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A6?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 584 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.38% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,558, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $29,558 sits slightly below last year's $36,214.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that a lower entry price can make the car easier to move later if it stays clean, well maintained, and competitively priced. The A6’s conservative styling and premium positioning can help it remain appealing to shoppers who want understated luxury rather than trend-driven design.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.38% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 Audi A6 makes the most sense if you want a refined, tech-focused luxury sedan and you value a lower used price relative to last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and shop whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
