Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A5 Sportback?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 38.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,179 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.68% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,892, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi A5 Sportback's resale value?

The current average of $29,892 sits slightly below last year's $35,449.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point today but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you can still protect more of its value over time. Demand should remain steadier for clean, well-kept examples than for higher-mileage or rough-condition listings.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2024 is the better choice if you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction in this group. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a slightly older example gives you a lower entry price, but the 2024 already looks attractive if you find a clean one with a good history report.
