The A5 Sportback features a menacing grille, flanked by angular LED headlights. The Sportback comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels and is available with 19-inch alloy wheels.
Powertrain
The base engine in the A5 Sportback is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This is found in the TFSI 40, and it makes 201 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque. The upgraded TFSI 45 also features a 2.0-liter turbo-four, but this one is tuned out to 261 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD). The TFSI 45 can get from zero to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds.
EPA fuel economy estimates for the 2024 Audi A5 Sportback are 26 mpg city, 35 highway, and 30 combined. The S Line trim returns fuel economy of 24 mpg city, 32 highway, and 27 combined. The A5’s powertrain requires premium fuel.
Interior

I gave this car a 4 out of 5 because it offers excellent comfort, fuel efficiency, and reliability — typical of the Camry line. The infotainment system is user-friendly, and the safety features like lane assist and adaptive cruise control are great additions, even in a used model. It feels like a solid value for the price, especially considering Toyota’s strong resale value and warranty options for certified vehicles. However, I do think it could use a more premium interior finish and better sound insulation — especially compared to competitors like the Honda Accord or Mazda6.
