Is the 2024 Audi A4 a good car?

The 2024 Audi A4 stands out as a well-rounded compact luxury sedan with a strong mix of technology, performance, and everyday usability. It pairs a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with a mild-hybrid drivetrain, and it also offers available quattro all-wheel drive for added traction and confidence in poor weather.

It feels modern thanks to Audi’s Virtual Cockpit and the 10.1-inch MMI touch screen, and it keeps the practical appeal that has long defined the nameplate. At the same time, it remains a good fit if you want a premium German sedan that balances efficiency, available all-wheel drive, and a polished cabin with useful tech.

Market availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Audi A4 reliable?

The 2024 Audi A4 is presented as a mature, settled version of the model, with a refined formula that combines a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, mild-hybrid assistance, and available all-wheel drive. Its broad technology story and polished cabin help it feel like a complete package rather than a first-year experiment.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that premium-car upkeep can become more expensive if the vehicle has been neglected or driven hard, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi A4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with limited service records. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior damage, and whether the car’s technology and cabin features are working as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A4?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 640 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,133, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $26,144 sits slightly below last year's $30,462.

That drop suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be good news if you’re buying used. If you plan to sell later, the same trend means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the car has been maintained.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.17% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the primary path if you want a mature, well-equipped compact luxury sedan with a softer used-market price than it had a year ago. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 already looks attractive if you want a balanced mix of tech, usability, and value.
