How much does the 2024 Audi A4 cost?

Is the 2024 Audi A4 a good car?

The 2024 Audi A4 stands out as a well-rounded compact luxury sedan with a strong mix of technology, performance, and everyday usability. It pairs a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with a mild-hybrid drivetrain, and it also offers available quattro all-wheel drive for extra traction and a more confident feel in poor weather.

The A4’s broad technology story is a major part of its appeal. Audi’s Virtual Cockpit replaces traditional gauges with a fully digital display, and the MMI system uses a 10.1-inch touch screen, which helps the cabin feel modern and upscale.

The model also has practical appeal for shoppers who want a premium German sedan that balances efficiency, available all-wheel drive, and useful tech. 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still meaningful opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Audi A4 reliable?

The 2024 Audi A4 is presented as a mature, well-rounded compact luxury sedan with a polished cabin and a strong technology package. It also benefits from a settled formula that combines a turbocharged engine, mild-hybrid assistance, and available all-wheel drive.

At the same time, the A4’s tradeoffs matter for long-term ownership. The base engine was described as underwhelming, the back seat was cramped, and older examples could suffer from outdated technology, so you should focus on condition and maintenance history if you plan to keep the car for years.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi A4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or deferred maintenance. Pay extra attention to the cabin electronics, infotainment operation, and overall interior condition, since the A4’s appeal depends heavily on its tech and premium feel.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 625 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.74% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,098, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $26,098 sits slightly below last year's $29,910.

That price movement suggests the A4 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be good news if you’re buying used. For a future seller, it also means resale value may remain sensitive to mileage, condition, and equipment level.

If you keep the car in strong condition and maintain it well, you’ll be better positioned when it’s time to sell. A clean history and desirable features should matter more because the market already reflects a softer pricing environment.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.74% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want the newer used A4 with a softer price trend and a decent pool of clean inventory to choose from. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 gives you a strong balance of value and availability.
