Used 2024 Acura TLX for Sale nearVisalia, CA

How much does the 2024 Acura TLX cost?

Prices have softened 3.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 605 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX a good car?

The 2024 Acura TLX earns an expert rating of 7.3/10.

The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It’s a sports-sedan choice that leans hard into driving enjoyment, with stylish design and great handling standing out in the overview and test-drive notes. Acura also updates the grille and screens for 2024 while keeping the chassis and powertrains intact, so you get a familiar formula with a fresher look and better tech presentation.

The trade-offs are clear: the back seat is cramped, cargo space is limited, and the technology can be unintuitive.

For you, that means the TLX makes the most sense if you care more about a sporty feel and value than maximum everyday practicality. Good and great deals account for 34.2% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX reliable?

The 2024 Acura TLX is presented as a well-equipped, safety-focused sedan with a strong warranty and standard driver assistance across the lineup. Acura’s test-drive notes also frame it as a capable sports sedan with a solid chassis and unchanged powertrains for 2024, which supports a sense of mechanical continuity.

Its performance setup is described as a turbocharged four-cylinder in the main trims, with the Type S using a turbo V6, and the all-wheel-drive system is tuned for performance on pavement rather than rough terrain. That points to a car built around driving precision more than complexity for its own sake.

Acura also includes a six-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty and four-year/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper coverage with roadside assistance, which is a helpful ownership perk. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the TLX’s sporty, tech-heavy setup may be more satisfying than simple, especially if you want low-effort everyday usability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Acura TLX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the electronics, infotainment usability, and any signs of interior wear, since the TLX’s tech can be a pain point. Also pay close attention to cabin and cargo-space condition, because this car’s practicality is one of its main compromises.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Technology Package is the entry point, followed by the A-Spec Package and then the Type S. The base trim is no longer available, so the cheapest version you can buy starts higher than older model years. Every TLX gets leather upholstery and heated front seats, while ventilation comes with the A-Spec and Type S packages.
• Powertrain: The Technology Package and A-Spec use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The Technology Package sends power to the front wheels, while the A-Spec adds SH-AWD. The Type S upgrades to a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, rear cross-traffic monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and upgraded blind-spot monitoring with lane-change alert. Every TLX gets these features, so there is no trim-level gap here.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 12.3-inch center infotainment screen, dual 12.3-inch displays, Bluetooth, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, a wireless charging pad, and Amazon Alexa built in. The A-Spec and Type S add a 17-speaker ELS Studio 3D audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: No fuel-economy figure is stated in the provided data.

Which 2024 Acura TLX trim should I buy?

The 2024 Acura TLX is offered in 3 trim levels: Technology Package, A-Spec Package, Type S.

Here's the short version:

• Technology Package: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core TLX experience with the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, front-wheel drive, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and the full AcuraWatch safety suite. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the model and care more about value than extra performance hardware.
• A-Spec Package: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds SH-AWD, ventilated front seats, and the 17-speaker ELS Studio 3D audio system while keeping the same 272-horsepower four-cylinder. If you want the strongest mix of equipment and driving appeal without jumping to the Type S, this is the trim to target.
• Type S: This is the performance pick, with the turbocharged V6, 355 horsepower, adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes, quad exhaust outlets, and the most aggressive look. Choose it if you want the TLX at its most capable and don’t mind paying for the extra speed and hardware.

AcuraWatch is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim for the core safety package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Acura TLX?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 605 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,953, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $37,129 sits slightly below last year's $38,325.

That softer pricing suggests the TLX has already moved down from its prior-year level, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. If you plan to sell later, the current trend means you should expect a more modest resale position than last year’s average implied. For you, that makes buying carefully now especially important, because a good purchase price will matter when it’s time to trade in or sell privately.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX safe?

The 2024 Acura TLX earns five-star ratings overall from NHTSA, and the IIHS has rated it Good in all tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, rear cross-traffic monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and upgraded blind-spot monitoring with lane-change alert. Acura also says the front camera and radar emitter benefit from a wider view for 2024.

The main caveat is that the TLX’s tech interface can be frustrating to use, especially with phone projection, even though the vehicle itself is well equipped with safety hardware. That means the safety package is strong, but you should still make sure the controls feel manageable in a test drive.

Should I buy a 2024 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.12% compared with last year.
• The 2024 adds a new grille, bigger screens, and updated standard tech while keeping the performance-first formula intact.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,444, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $37,129 average.
• It offers a stylish, fun-to-drive luxury sports sedan with a comfortable ride.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the TLX with updated styling and tech, the 2024 is the better target. If your priority is saving money and you can live without the latest updates, the 2023 is the more budget-friendly path.
