Used 2024 Acura TLX for Sale nearBakersfield, CA

How much does the 2024 Acura TLX cost?

Prices have softened 5.58% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 598 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX a good car?

The 2024 Acura TLX earns an 7.33/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

The TLX’s appeal is centered on stylish design, great handling, and strong value for money, and it’s aimed at you if you want a sports sedan with a more engaging personality than the average family car. The trade-offs are clear: the back seat is cramped, cargo space is limited, and the technology can be unintuitive.

The market reflects that mix of strengths and compromises, with 32.9% of listings priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX reliable?

The 2024 Acura TLX is presented as a well-equipped sports sedan with a strong safety and warranty package, which helps support confidence for used buyers. Its performance-focused hardware carries over unchanged, and Acura backs it with a six-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty and a four-year/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty with roadside assistance.

The performance content points to a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the Technology and A-Spec trims, plus a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 in Type S form, so you’re looking at proven carryover powertrains rather than a major redesign. The cost-effectiveness content also emphasizes that the TLX comes better equipped than the prior year, which can reduce the need to add options after purchase.

For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is buying a used example that has been neglected or poorly maintained, so condition and service history matter more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Acura TLX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because accident-free listings are strong but not universal. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the electronics, infotainment usability, and overall cabin condition, since the TLX’s tech can be frustrating and the interior packaging is tight. It’s also worth paying close attention to how the car drives, because this model is built around performance and should feel composed and responsive.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Technology Package is the entry point, the A-Spec Package adds a more aggressive look and more equipment, and the Type S sits at the top with the most performance-focused hardware. The base TLX is no longer available, so feature content starts higher than it did in earlier years.
• Powertrain: The Technology and A-Spec trims use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The Type S upgrades to a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, rear cross-traffic monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and upgraded blind-spot monitoring with lane-change alert. Every TLX gets these features, so there’s no trim-level gap to worry about here.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 12.3-inch center screen, dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, a wireless charging pad, and Amazon Alexa built in. The screen is not a touchscreen, so you should make sure you’re comfortable with the touchpad-based interface.
• Fuel efficiency: No figure is stated in the provided data.

Which 2024 Acura TLX trim should I buy?

The 2024 Acura TLX is offered in 3 trim levels: Technology Package, A-Spec Package, Type S.

Here's the short version:

• Technology Package: This is the entry point, and it’s the trim to target if you want the lowest starting price in the lineup while still getting the TLX’s core luxury and safety equipment. It’s the best-value choice if you care more about the car’s style, handling, and standard features than about extra performance hardware.
• A-Spec Package: This is the step-up choice if you want the more aggressive look and the standard Super Handling All-Wheel Drive setup. It adds a stronger enthusiast flavor without jumping all the way to the Type S.
• Type S: This is the one to buy if you want the full performance experience, including the turbo V6, 355 horsepower, adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes, and the most athletic character in the lineup.

Every TLX includes AcuraWatch safety equipment, so you don’t need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Acura TLX?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and pricing softness to make comparison shopping worthwhile.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 598 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.58% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,953, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $36,888 sits slightly below last year's $39,069.

That decline suggests the TLX has softened in the used market, which can help you buy more car for the money today. If you’re planning to resell later, the current pricing trend means you should expect some depreciation pressure to continue unless demand strengthens. For you, that makes condition, trim choice, and mileage especially important if you want to protect future value.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX safe?

The 2024 Acura TLX earns five-star ratings overall from NHTSA, and the IIHS has given it top scores of Good in all tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, rear cross-traffic monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and upgraded blind-spot monitoring with lane-change alert. Acura also says the front camera and radar emitter benefit from a wider view for 2024.

One caveat is that the TLX’s infotainment setup can be distracting to use, especially when you’re relying on phone projection while driving.

Should I buy a 2024 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.58% compared with last year.
• It adds a new grille, bigger screens, and the same strong performance focus with updated tech.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,047, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,888 average.
• It offers a stylish, fun-to-drive luxury sports sedan with a comfortable ride.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version with updated styling and tech, the 2024 is the better pick. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable giving up the newer updates, the 2023 is the smarter value play.
