Is the 2024 Acura RDX a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Acura RDX earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

The overview describes it as a compact luxury SUV that blends sporty character with everyday usefulness. You get a 272-horsepower turbocharged engine, SH-AWD, and a 10-speed automatic, so it should appeal if you want a premium crossover that feels more engaging than many rivals. It also offers a well-rounded feature set and standard safety tech, while still leaving room for a few compromises in infotainment usability and cargo packaging.

32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Acura RDX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a well-rounded package with standard driver-assistance features, a capable powertrain, and everyday usability. That combination suggests the RDX is built to serve as a comfortable, practical premium SUV rather than a high-strung specialty vehicle.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is more about living with the infotainment and packaging compromises than expecting major surprises from the core formula.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Acura RDX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the car’s accident and title history before you commit. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment that you want fully tested.

Focus on cabin condition, infotainment operation, and how the vehicle drives in different modes, since those are the areas most likely to shape your day-to-day satisfaction.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.44% compared with last year.

What is the 2024 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $37,173 sits slightly below last year's $40,600.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future value, the current pricing trend favors buyers more than sellers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
