CarGurus Analysis: 2024 Acura RDX
Summary
With 2,344 currently listed for sale and an average price of $37,425, 37.6% of 2024 Acura RDX listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2024 Acura RDX 5 / 5 stars.
90.9% of 2024 Acura RDX listings on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2024 Acura RDX stands out as a compact luxury SUV that blends sporty character with everyday usefulness. Its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine makes 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, and Acura pairs it with a 10-speed automatic transmission and SH-AWD. That setup gives the RDX a more engaging feel than many buyers expect from a practical crossover, while the torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system is designed to improve handling and traction.
The 2024 model also benefits from a well-rounded feature set. Acura’s Integrated Dynamics System lets the driver choose among Snow, Comfort, Sport, and Sport+ modes, and the cabin can be equipped with features such as a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, leather upholstery, a 12-speaker audio system, ventilated front seats, and a head-up display depending on trim. Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control, while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard as well.
There are still a few tradeoffs to keep in mind. The RDX’s infotainment system is not especially intuitive, and its cargo space, while generous at up to 79.8 cubic feet, requires moving the front seats all the way forward to reach that maximum figure. Even so, the 2024 Acura RDX remains appealing for shoppers who want a premium compact SUV that is comfortable, capable, and notably more fun to drive than many rivals.

Great value for excellent car. We are Honda lovers as we have owned 4 over the last 15 years and 1 jeep. Hondas have never broken down or needed repairs other than brakes. The Rubicon top of the line was a constant money drain for service

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can matter if you plan to sell later. Strong condition and a clean history should matter even more if you want to protect value over time.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2024 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.72% compared with last year.

Consider the 2025 if:
- At $42,019, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,513 average.
